Bougainvillea (Bougainvillea glabra) is a deciduous, climbing woody vine grown as a hedge, an arch, or a tree on the ground and in pots. It belongs to the family Nyctaginaceae and is perfect for bonsai.
Paper flower requires full sunlight, warm weather and well-drained soil. Flowers are small and white, either single or double, surrounded by colorful papery bracts, as a result the name paper flower. The stem is characterized by sharp thorns and dark green leaves. Propagation is achieved through root cuttings and branch cuttings.
