The Sun Temple at Swarajpur Baragaon is an ancient shrine located around 18 km from
Rajgir in
Bihar. Devouts visit this temple in large numbers on various religious occasions. Two important festivals are held in this temple - the first one in April-May (Vaisakha month in the
North Indian Hindu Calendar) and the second one is
Chhath celebrated in October-November (Kartik in the North Indian Hindu Calendar).
