Siliguri, located in
Darjeeling District, is an important transportation hub of
North Bengal. Siliguri is an important launching place for the tourists to explore

Siliguri is the junction of Northeast frontier railway zone. New Jalpaiguri, popularly known as NJP is the one of the most important rail station of northeast and is 4 km south of Siliguri. NJP is connected with direct trains to New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai and Bangalore. Siliguri is 650 km north of Kolkata.
