A landmark of
Patna, Sher Shah Masjid was constructed by
Sher Shah Suri in 1545. Locally known as Shershahi, it is a rare example of Afghan architecture.
The Masjid consists of heavy domes, and they are arranged in such a way that, whether it be from any angle, one can see only three domes at a time.
