National Highway 82 connects the historic city of
Gaya with Mokama, in
Bihar. The highway spans across the districts of
Gaya,
Nalanda and
Begusarai and touches some major cities and towns on its way.
National Highway 82 starts from its junction near Gaya on National Highway 83 and passes north-east past Rajgir and Bihar Sharif, before terminating at its junction with National Highway 31 near Mokama. It has a total length of 130 km in the state.
