Muzaffarpur Junction Railway Station is a railhead of
East Central Railways.
Shaheed Express,
Mithila Express,
Maurya Express, Sadhbhawna Express,
Vaishali Express and Amarnath Express pass through this station. The railway department has provided computerized reservation facility at the station. The main station close to Muzaffarpur is at Darbhanga, towards east. Traveling south, the main station is at Hajipur.
