Khurmabad

Khurmabad is a small town close to Rohtas District’s border with Kaimur District. Sasaram is 24 km to the south-east of the town.

National Highway 30 runs close to Khurmabad.

Rohtasgarh Fort, on the Kaimur Hills, is an interesting destination outside the town. Gurdwara Chacha Phaggu Mal, Bhaluni Dham and Tarachandi are the other sites worth visiting.

Varanasi Airport is the most convenient airport from Khurmabad.

The rail route linking Sasaram with Kudra passes through the town. Kudra Railway Station is the nearest railway station.
