Rangamati Mosque, belonging to the pre-
Mughal period, was built in the 17th century by Hussain Shah, the then Governor of Bengal. It is famous for its architectural design and sanctity. During the Mughal regime Rangamati was an important place to the Mughal army. This mosque was used as a prayer house by the Mughal soldiers. There is also an idgah and a well which were also constructed during the same period.
Rangamati Mosque is located about 25 km from Dhubri town. The nearest railway station is at Rongapara and the nearest airport is at Tezpur.
