Furkating

Furkating, situated 75 km east of Kaziranga, is in the Golaghat District of Assam. The district headquarters, Golaghat, is just 5 km from here. Garampani (14 km) Baruagaon (10 km) and Jamuguri (9 km) are the other neighboring places.

The Kaziranga National Park, recognized as a world heritage site by UNESCO, is easily accessible by road from the Furkating Junction Railway Station.
