The remains of Kachari Kingdom are present in
Dimapur which is considered to have been the capital of Kachari. The Kacharis were a non-Aryan race. All that remains of their accomplishments are in a dilapidated condition. Visitors can see ruins of temples, embankments and tanks built by this once mighty rulers, in and around Dimapur. Dimapur is well connected by rail and road networks.
