The town of Harangajao is in North Cachar Hills District. This beautiful hilly town, dominated by the Hmar tribes, is about 39 km from the district headquarters of Haflong. The road connecting Haflong and Silchar passes through this town. The town has a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
