Daulashal is a scenic village near Nalbari town, located to the south-west of
Nalbari District. The name of the village is closely associated with an ancient doul or temple and a canal (khal) nearby. This place came to be known as Daulakhal, which in course of time changed into Daulashal. Today the village is famous for this massive temple, called
Daulashal Temple.
Nalbari town is 2 km away from the
National Highway 31 and 60 km away from Guwahati bus stand. The nearest railway junction is Rangia.
