Bachagaon is located in Lakhimpur District at the north-eastern corner of Assam. It is 12 km north of North Lakhimpur and 25 km south of Borduttighat. It lies between Dulahatgaon and Kekuri Bebejia.

The nearest airport is Tezpur Airport and the nearest railway station is North Lakhimpur.
