Nechi Dau Dance




Nechi Dau is a dance performed by the Aka Tribe, who inhabit the sub-Himalayan region of India. Nature has influenced most of the tribal dances of Arunachal Pradesh and Nechi Dau is no exception. This dance is the main feature in the Nechi Dau festival.

Nechi Dau is a group dance performed by the tribal youths. The performers dance and sing together in a joyous mood, praising the colorful flowers and its creator. The song also emphasizes on the ultimate power of the lord.
