District Museum is an ethnographic museum situated in
Tezu, the headquarters of
Lohit District,
Arunachal Pradesh. Established in 1956, the museum exhibits a rich collection of arts and crafts objects of tribal people, manuscripts, paintings and tribal costumes.
Film shows are organized here fortnightly during office hours. Guide service are provided for visitors.
District Museum is open from 9:00 to 17:00 hrs on all days, except Sundays and public holidays.
