Yoga Narasimha Temple is located at
Dharmapuri, about 220 km from
Hyderabad, in
Andhra Pradesh. The temple is dedicated to Yoga Narasimha (
Lord Narasimha) and
Lord Brahma. Most noteworthy feature of the temple is that Narasimha Swamy is enshrined in the sowmya swaroopam (calm posture) other than the terrifying Ugra swaroopam.
Other deities worshipped include Lord Balram and Muralikrishna Krishna. The temple also features eight images of Lord Hanuman.
The annual Kalyanotsavam, celebrated in Phalgun, is a major draw attended by thousands of devotees from far and near.
