Kakatiya University, established in 1967, is a State University located in
Warangal.
It offers about 120 programs at undergraduate and postgraduate level in the faculties of arts, science, commerce and business management, social sciences, education, engineering and pharmaceutical sciences. Distance education courses are also offered.
Placement cell and student welfare center are organized for the benefits of students. The university has about 180 constituent and affiliated colleges spread over four districts of Andhra Pradesh.
