Karnataka. This place is famous for carved rocks. Sahasralinga is a beautiful valley through which the river Shalmala flows. The numerous
Shivlings found for considerable length in the course of the river Shalmala are an attraction. Each rock is designed with a shivling and
Nandi facing it. Hundreds of people visit the place to worship lord
shiva on
shivaratri day.
