Srikakulam Road Railway Station




Srikakulam Road Railway Station is an important station on the Chennai-Kolkata route. The station is under the administrative control of South Eastern Railways. It is located near Amudalavalasa, a sleepy township on the border between Andhra Pradesh and Orissa. To be more precise, it is located about 15 km west of the city. Visakha Express, Howrah Mail, Puri-Ahmedabad Express, Guwahati Express, Konark Express, East Coast Express, Hirakhand Express and Falaknuma Express pass through this station.

Computerized reservation facility is provided. Just 3 km off the station is Anantagiri, a destination for nature lovers. To the south, the main station is Vizianagaram Railway Station. The airfield close to the station is Visakhapatnam Airport, 106 km from Srikakulam.
