Prakasam Engineering College was established in 1997 by the Amma Education Society. It is located at Kandukur, about 13 km from the
Singarayakonda Railway station. B.Tech courses in Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology, and Electrical and Electronics are offered. The college has well experienced and highly qualified faculties. There is a well stocked library with over 5,000 books. Separate hostel facilities are available for girls and boys.
