Lakshmi Narayana Temple is a highly revered shrine situated at
Antarvedi in
Andhra Pradesh.
Legends say that Lord Vishnu, in the
Narasimha avatar, had manifested himself in an anthill. A deity was obtained from within which was eventually installed in this temple in 1823.
Hundreds of pilgrims from all over the state visit this place in February andMarch, to witness the wedding of the deities Lakshmi and Narayana, which is a major annual event.
