Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) is located at Madanapalle, about 7 km from Madanapalle town,

Andhra Pradesh. Established in 1998, the institute is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU).
MITS offers a four-year Bachelors Degree program in various streams of engineering. This includes mechanical engineering, electrical and electronics, electronics and communications engineering and bio technology. Admission is based on the performance in the Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by Government of Andhra Pradesh.
