Kondavidu Fort is located at Kondavidu in
Guntur District. The fort is around 30 km west of
Guntur.
Built by the Reddis of Kondavidu, there are three forts at Kondavid of which the main fort stands at a height of nearly 320 m. It consists of massive ramparts, magazines, go-downs, granaries and wells. There is a temple with carved stone pillars and a mosque within the fort. Due to age and neglect the forts are in a dilapidated condition.
