Madhava Swamy Temple is located at
Kollapur in
Mahabubnagar District.
The temple was first constructed, by the Rajas of Jetprole during the 16th century, on the left bank of
Krishna River at Manchalakatta. Later, it was transferred to Kollapur. The temple walls are adorned by the sculptures that depict the 24 aspects and the ten incarnations of Lord
Vishnu. The other attractions of the temple are the numerous pillars that support the mandapa and the garudalaya.
