Kamareddy

Kamareddy town falls in the Telangana region of Andhra Pradesh. The place, which is called as Dandakaranya in mythology, is geographically located on the Deccan Plateau.

Located in Nizamabad District, Kamareddy is 100 km northwest of Hyderabad and 55 km south of Nizamabad . Kamareddy Railway Station is on the Secunderabad-Nizamabad line. The National Highway 7 passes through Kamareddy.
