Veeranarayana Temple is a highly revered shrine situated at
Kolanupaka, in
Warangal District of
Andhra Pradesh. It is located about 80 km north-west of
Hyderabad, on the Hyderabad-
Warangal route. The presiding deity here is Sri Veeranarayana, an incarnation of
Vishnu.
Built around 1104 AD, the temple is constructed in Chalukyan style of architecture. The appearance of the temple states that it was originally a Jain temple later converted into a Vaishnava place of worship.
