Wanaparthi is a small town located in the Mahabubnagar District of Andhra Pradesh. Wanaparthi is around 60 km south of Mahabubnagar.

Major point of attraction here is the Sarla Sagar Project, which is the biggest siphon dam in the state. Another spot worth visiting is the ancient Vittaleswara Temple. Excursions to Bagamaru Sahib, Syed Abdul Khader Sahib, Majoot Mardan Ali Shah Sahib and Pillalamari will be an interesting experience.
