Chipurupalle is located in Vizianagaram District of Andhra Pradesh and is 30 km northeast of
Vizianagaram town. The place has an old fort in ruins and the copper plate inscriptions found within the fort testimonies the glory of the Eastern
Chalukya rulers. Chipurupalle is also famous for handloom industry.
