Biccavolu, located in
East Godavari District, is about 35 km from
Kakinada. It is renowned for beautiful stone temples of the
Eastern Chalukyas built during the 9th and 10th centuries. These temples are a fine specimen of Dravidian style of architecture. An important feature of the village is a stone sculpture of
Lord Ganesh, which is an outstanding work of Chalukyan artistry.
