Amiram is a village located in
West Godavari district of Andra Pradesh. It is situated at a distance of 4 km from
Bhimavaram. It is famous for the temple of Bhagvan Vimalanatha. The artistic works of the temple belong to the 10th century. The local tale has it that the idol had long been neglected by the villagers, as a result of which a torment befell on the village. Later the idol was installed at the proper place and good times followed. Annual Pujas are conducted in the month of Chaithra.
