Situated at Ashtur, 2 km east of
Bidar, Bahamani Tombs enshrine a series of impressive tombs, built to house the mortal remains of the sultans. The tombs are seen in a long line along the edge of the road.
The outside walls have good carvings in granite. The wall decorations in gold and various other colours are a good example of medieval Muslim art. The interiors are decorated with well preserved paintings.
Bidar Railway Station and Hyderabad Airport are the nearest railway station and airport.
