Tulsi Lake




Tulsi Lake is Mumbai's second largest and most popular lake, situated in the Borivali National Park in northern Mumbai. It is situated about 32 km away from Mumbai. This lake meets a part of the city's water requirement and it falls in the Sanjay Gandhi National Park. The Powai-Kanheri hill ranges situated nearby is the main catchment area for rain water which feeds the lake. Nearby are two other lakes called, Vihar and Powai. Borivali Station is the nearest railway station. The nearest international airport is at a distance of around 20 km.
