Thikri

Thikri is a small town located 15 km south of Maheshwar and around 16 km north-east of Julwania, in Madhya Pradesh. Surrounded by Khargone, Barwani and Mandleshwar, the town is a part of Barwani District.

Peshawar Ghat, Kaleshwar and an ancient fort complex with a museum at Maheshwar, and Chool Giri are places to visit.

Nearest airport is at Indore. Khandwa Junction Railway Station serves this town. National Highway 3 passes through Thikri.
