Organized by the Delhi Tourism Department, the Sound and Light Show is held every evening at the
Purana Quila. It is one of the biggest of its kind in India and one that unfolds the history of
Delhi to viewers. Special effects combined with the unique ambience takes the audience to the bygone days of Delhi's history from the
Mughal period. The selected events from records of Delhi’s history and legendary past are presented to the visitors. The shows, both in English and Hindi, are conducted after sunset except on the rainy days.
