Palashipara

The town of Palashipara is located on the way to Betai in Nadia District, around 18 km east of Plassey. Kolkata is 170 km away from this town. Jalangi River flows on its eastern side. Palashipara has Hanspukur in the south, Nawada in the north, Kaliganj in the south-west and Tehata in the south-east.

Neighboring attractions are Sonargouranga temple (the temple with the golden statue of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu), Chandroday Temple and Roman Catholic Church.
