Mondipalayam is a village located in Avinashi Taluk, about 50 km from
Coimbatore. The place is famous for the Arulmigu Sri Venkatesa Perumal Thirukoil. During the Purattasi festival, devotees throng the temple in large numbers. The place is accessible through Annur-Kanurpudur bus route. Avinashi is the nearby railway station.
