Kuttiyum Kolum is a traditional game played in
Kerala. It is similar to cricket and baseball, except in the scoring. This game is played with a long stick (kol) and a short stick (kutty). One of the players strikes (the scorer) the kutty with the kol to drive it far away. The opponent throws the kutty to the base. Scores are calculated with the measurements of the kol, from the kutty to the base. The kutty is again thrown to the base where the scorer gets another chance to hit the kutty while in air and score more. The scorer is out if the kutty is caught by the opponents or if the kutty falls less than one kol in measure from the base.
