Indraprastha College is the oldest women's college in
Delhi. It college has more than 1,800 students on the rolls. The college provides wide range of under graduate and post graduate courses in Arts, Science and Commerce. In addition to this, Bachelor of Computer Application (B.C.A), Bachelor of Mass Media and Mass Communication (B.M.M.M.C.) and a certificate/diploma course in Spanish language are also offered. Indraprastha College houses an excellent library carrying a collection of 5,350 bound journals, 20 sets of encyclopedias, 110 regular journals and magazines and 11 daily newspapers. The hostel of the college can accommodate up to 200 students and the medical room is located next to it.
Spread on 21 acre with extroverted lawns, Indraprastha College encourages co-curricular activities such as dramatics, dance, music and debating and provides extensive facilities for various sports activities. The college also houses two computer labs, a well-equipped psychology lab, a spacious auditorium, bank, and public telephone with S.T.D facility, a students' common room and a photostat corner.
