Falgu, locally known as 'Furl', is located about 53 km from
Kurukshetra, in
Kurukshetra District of
Haryana. Falgu finds mention in the Narad Puran - an ancient spiritual text.
According to legends, Lord Vishnu appeared here on the request of Lord Brahma. A dip in the holy tank here is believed to attain wealth and prosperity. The ghats of the tank are built of red stones.
