Asian Emerald Cuckoo (Chrysococcyx Maculates) is one of the most enigmatic of Indian cuckoos. The upper parts are brilliant emerald green and there are metallic bronzy barring on the underparts. Its irises are red. Asian Emerald Cuckoo has a black-tipped yellow bill. The female is brown on the head and mantle. Both male and female have a darker brownish base colour on the throat and upper breast.

Rajasthan.
