Langshiang Falls




Langshiang Falls is situated at 10 km from Nongkhnum Island, the biggest River Island in Meghalaya. It falls from a height of 335 to 340 m into a deep gorge. Langshiang Falls is formed from a diverged stream of the Kynshi River situated near the village Sangriang. One can also have a magnificent view of the falls from Mawpon village. There are two rivers in the surrounding area which forms the Nongkhnum Island, 14 km from Nongstoin, the district headquarters of West Khasi Hills District.
